year Senior Landscape Site Architect – Dubai UAE
Job Description
We seek an experienced and talented Senior Landscape Site Architect to join our client team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of landscape architecture, strong leadership skills, and a track record of successfully delivering high-quality projects in the UAE or GCC region. This role requires frequent travel to Abu Dhabi to oversee ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of landscape architectural projects.
- Supervise and ensure quality control during all construction phases, from concept to completion.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Conduct regular site visits to oversee and monitor the progress of landscape installation.
- Ensure that all work complies with relevant safety regulations, local codes, and high-quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot challenges during construction.
- Collaborate with the design team to translate conceptual ideas into detailed, executable designs.
- Review and approve shop drawings, materials, and mock-ups related to hardscaping, softscaping, and irrigation.
- Act as the key point of contact between the client, contractors, and internal teams.
- Represent the company in meetings, presentations, and discussions with project stakeholders in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
- Incorporate sustainable practices and innovative solutions into landscape designs to align with environmental goals and project requirements.
Qualifications, Skills and Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in landscape architecture, with a strong focus on site supervision and execution.
- Proven experience in the UAE/GCC, with a deep understanding of local regulations and materials.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, planting techniques, and hardscape materials.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
- Willingness to travel frequently to Abu Dhabi.
