Business Development Manager (Retail Shopfitting)

Company Overview:
Our client, a leading retail shopfitting company with headquarters in Dubai, UAE, specializes in creating high-end retail spaces, primarily for luxury brands. With plans to expand into the UK, they are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth in this new market.

Role Overview:
As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and expanding the company’s presence in the UK. You will be responsible for building relationships with potential clients, identifying new business opportunities, and positioning our client as a trusted provider of bespoke retail solutions. This is a remote position that requires expertise in the retail shopfitting industry, ideally with experience in working with luxury brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to drive growth in the UK market.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the luxury retail and shopfitting sectors.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, architects, designers, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and Dubai-based leadership team to align on goals, strategy, and execution.
  • Lead sales presentations and proposals, effectively communicating the value and quality of the company’s shopfitting services.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging client needs to inform business strategy.
  • Achieve revenue targets and KPIs established by the CEO.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales within the retail shopfitting industry, preferably with a focus on luxury brands.
  • Strong understanding of the UK retail market, trends, and key players.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, with excellent time-management and self-motivation skills.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with high-profile clients and industry influencers.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK for client meetings, site visits, and industry events as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Established network within the luxury retail or shopfitting sectors.
