month Project Manager
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our team in Dubai, specializing in retail shopfitting and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing end-to-end projects within the retail industry, ensuring timely delivery, high-quality standards, and adherence to budgets. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and design coordination to execution and final handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients, designers, architects, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and met.
- Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors to meet project specifications.
- Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring adherence to project plans, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure high standards of workmanship and compliance with client specifications.
- Facilitate clear communication between all stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.
- Conduct project meetings, both on-site and off-site, to align on project objectives and address any issues promptly.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports, ensuring all project expenditures are tracked and controlled.
- Manage change orders and variations, securing client approvals and adjusting budgets as necessary.
- Ensure timely invoicing, payment collections, and financial closure of projects
- Ensure all projects meet local regulations, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
- Conduct final inspections and manage the handover process to clients, ensuring satisfaction and project sign-off.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Experience & Industry Knowledge:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management within the retail shopfitting or fit-out industry.
- Proven experience managing large-scale retail projects in the UAE or GCC region.
- Strong understanding of shopfitting materials, fixtures, and installation processes.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent project management skills, with proficiency in project planning software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
- Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and other design software is advantageous.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid UAE driving license.
- Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
