Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi, specializing in commercial furniture sales. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing client relationships, driving sales, and delivering exceptional customer service within the commercial furniture industry. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and the ability to grow and maintain a portfolio of key clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of client needs, providing tailored solutions to meet their commercial furniture requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, project updates, and after-sales support.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial furniture sector, targeting offices, hospitality, and other commercial spaces.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue growth.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and competitive pricing strategies.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of service to secure profitable deals.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing, ensuring timely follow-ups and effective pipeline management.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s commercial furniture products and services.
- Provide expert consultation to clients on furniture solutions, including space planning, product selection, and customization options.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as design, logistics, and project management, to ensure seamless delivery and installation.
- Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback to senior management.
- Use CRM tools to maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and forecasts.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and drive strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
- Experience & Industry Knowledge:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales account management within the commercial furniture industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing high-value client accounts in the UAE or GCC region.
- Strong understanding of commercial furniture products, space planning, and industry trends.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities, with a focus on solution-based selling.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Certification in sales or project management is a plus.
- Other Requirements:
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel within Abu Dhabi and surrounding regions.
- Strong network of contacts within the commercial furniture industry is a plus.
